Embedded World 2020 – Video

Source: Electronic Weekly

At Embedded World 2020, we caught up with Michael Melvang of EDT (Emerging Display Technologies), as part of our promotional coverage for the event. He discusses the company’s human-machine-interface platform – its Smart Embedded Display, which is a high-performance industrial TFT display with capacitive touch panel sensor (CTP) and cover lens plus integrated Driving Board (PCB) using STM32 Cortex-M7 MCUs, Flash memory and a FreeRTOS software GUI. Most customers don’t need all the interfaces supported, so the system can be tuned for their needs, he told us. It offers a shorter time to market, with less transportation, stocking and test of sub-assemblies, as well as reducing cost and energy consumption. Thank you to Michael for his time.
